What was the highlight of Alto Mirador Hotel Boutique

A clean, comfortable hotel, wonderful terrace views and a reasonable walk to sights & restaurants.

Loved the terrace outside our room #7 to enjoy our own happy hour with late afternoon sun and a view.

It must be an older building which looks very nice but the floors were very noisy, creaky. Fortunately it was a very quiet hotel and quests were quiet so it was not an issue. I personally prefer a bedside light rather than overhead lights so I can read when my spouse is sleeping. Finally, a second more comfortable chair would be great for sitting and reading. The small desk and chair were fine for computer work.

Fantastic bedroom view over the city. Great terrace on which to enjoy city views. Good breakfast with variety. Staff very polite and accommodating. Very helpful for advice on restaurants, directions, etc

Towels grey and hard. Bathrobe old and belt loop broken. No mirror and full length closet in the room. Ran out of fruit for breakfast.

Expecting a more for the price: owner needs to invest more in property. Old mattress, shower does not have a curtain, no bedside lamps.

Lovely Boutique hotel with Fantastic Staff Nice Views

The Staff were absolutely fantastic could not ask for more the views from the hotel were second to none it was great as was the pool the room was clean and the bed really comfortable the tours we booked from the hotel were also very good breakfast was nice and plentiful I would score the staff a 10 plus

The room did not have air conditioning and it was very very hot the location was up in the hills and I could not recommend anyone walking about specially at night and this was a problem because there were no restaurants nearby although I think the hotel had a limited menu that could be ordered, unfortunately we were mugged and this stopped us going out on our own as it rather shocked us but again the receptionist took my husband to the police station and helped translate you could not ask for more than that

Excellent!

Most lovely staff, friendliest we’ve met, very helpful and professional and excellent English. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice with hot and cold. The view from the balcony was also breathtaking- you can see all of Valparaiso and over to Viña del Mar!

Reasonable hotel, breakfast could be better.

Reasonable hotel to visit the town.

1. Breakfast was too short. They have a coffee machine. cafe is con capsula! However they just limit the number of capsules. When you order scrambled eggs, you will probably not notice, when you order fried eggs, you will get only one egg even though they are offering at least two as they use the plural (huevos!). 2. The steep way to the hotel. However, this is not a default of the hotel, we knew that before.

I enjoyed it thoroughly.

The staff-Camilla and the other young woman were wonderful. The breakfast was good.

The shower was difficult to manage (temperature) and a bit unsafe for older guests.

Staff were really helpful and gave us good places to go.

Staff were really helpful and gave us good places to go. Good selection for breakfast, and plates were regularly topped up.

It's not in the "beach" area, 1km walk is to the port. Pool needed to be cleaned. Also our room had no view, looked into a roof.

This is a lovely little B&B that overlooks the Harbor in...

This is a lovely little B&B that overlooks the Harbor in Valparaiso, Chile. The staff was absolutely amazing, and we loved being there. Couldn't recommend it more! The view in the morning from the upstairs balcony is just amazing. The staff ordered pizza, made special items at breakfast, and were, in general, just wonderful.

Beautiful hotel and amazing service!

Absolutely amazing stay in this wonderful hotel! The staff was exceptionally attentive and polite. We made use of the hot pool at night and had a lovely time. The breakfast selection was huge and everything tasted very good. We would definitely come back.

The heater didn't work so it was very chilly in our room. And maybe taking out one table of the breakfast area would be a good idea since it is very crowded. Otherwise, everything was amazing :-)

Hermosas vistas a la bahía desde algunas habitaciones.

Hermosas vistas a la bahía desde algunas habitaciones. Muy lindas instalaciones con la piscina y tinajas. Si a uno le gusta caminar, la ubicación está bien, como entre San Luis y la Casa de Neruda. Si uno prefiere el bullicio, no.

Tuvimos un problema con la reserva, pero lo resolvieron bien.

Autentico Valparaiso

La vista de Valparaiso sobre la terraza es una maravilla, además la posibilidad de reservar una tina de agua caliente y el sauna le dan un valor agregado muy bueno, lo mejor es la hospitalidad del personal. Totalmente recomendable.

Tuve la oportunidad de estar en dos habitaciones distintas, y las del primer piso no tienen el espacio y el confort de las del tercero. Se podría mejorar en este aspecto mejorando el confort de las del primer piso.

Las vistas dede la galegia superior y el lugar son fantasticos especialmente la movida cultural que tiene toda esa zona.

Las tinas de relajacion no estan permanentemente en funcionamiento sino que hay que pedirlas con tiempo. Muy austero todo, desde los elementos para el baño como el desayuno. Dificil acceso caminando para gente de edad por la altura donde esta ubicado -tener en cuenta esto inclusive para manejarse con automovil-

Las cortinas de la habitación. Era un problema subirlas y bajarlas. El personal muy amoroso, nos ayudo a subir y bajar. Pero es muy molesto tener que pedir ayuda en eso. Tampoco está clara la información para llamar al lobby.

Tenia mas expectativas lamentablemente no se cumplieron

la piscina del hotel

Se solicito un servicio especial para la habitación y no fue llevado a cabo, se ofrecio un desayuno en la cama el cual fue bastante pobre, ademas al momento del pago se realizaron cobros adicionales que no estaban acordados y al momento de solicitar el rembolso costo lograr contactarlos y aun no obtengo una respuesta formal al respecto
